Peppers

  • 10-10-10 with compost before planting
  • 5-10-10 every 3-4 weeks after planting.
    • Peppers prefer more Potassium (last number) than tomatoes.
  • Add eggshells for calcium to prevent blossom end rot
  • Epsom Salts for Magnesium
    • 1 tsp per gallon (no scents or bath crystals)
    • Apply with pump sprayer to leaves every 2 weeks
    • Can apply after plants have 3-4 sets of true leaves.
  • Overfertilized
    • Brown edges on leaves.
    • Don’t add more for 2-3 weeks.
    • Flush with plenty of water.
